Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and enjoys the long weekend off.

On Wednesday, December 2 (one week from today) the Burgaw library will re-open our "Teen Lounge" from 3-5:30 p.m. Come hang out, play on the Playstation2, surf the internet on one of the laptops, or check out a board game. After Dec. 2, we'll open up our "Teen Lounge" every Wednesday afternoon at the Burgaw Library. Got any questions? Give us a call at 259-1234.

Rock Band and Twilight

A lot's happening in Burgaw next week! Come join us Wednesday, November 18 at 3:30 p.m. for a Playstation 2 Rock Band Tournament. You don't have to be an expert, or even know what you're doing. Just come join in the fun.

And on Thursday, November 19 from 4-6 p.m. we're preparing for the release of the new Twilight Movie, New Moon with a Twilight Trivia Contest. Bring your friends and compete for bragging rights and cool prizes.

Halloween is coming!!!

Burgaw library is celebrating the spooky with a Monster Makeover, Thursday, October 29 at 5 p.m. Come eat some snacks, check out spooky books, and learn how to apply monster makeup. Come to the library or call 259-1234 to sign up for the event.

Come out the the Burgaw Public Library this Wednesday, September 23 from 4-5 p.m. for a Poetry Slam : read a favorite poem or recite one of your own. For more information, call 259-1234.

Be Part of a Teen Advisory Group!!!!!

Be part of the Teen Advisory Group (TAG) at your local library. It's a chance to let us know what you want out of your public library, and a great volunteer opportunity.

Hampstead Happenings!!

Head to the Hampstead Branch Library on the third thursday in September (September 17) at 4 p.m. for their Teen Advisory Group (TAG) meeting. There will be games, a craft, talk about plans for the year, and of course refreshments!
